I am please to welcome you to the web page of the Bioscope group. Our group is located in one of the most competitive universities from Iberian Peninsula, The University NOVA of Lisbon. Founded in 1973, the University NOVA of Lisbon is the youngest of Portugal’s three state institutions. It has nine academic units – including science and technology, social sciences, economics and management, law, humanities, and life sciences and medicine (incorporating tropical and public health) – and more than 15,000 students. We hope that you enjoy our facilities and take profit from our expertise in Bio-analytical applications for Protein Identification and Proteomics as well as in organic and inorganic synthesis of funcionalized nanomaterials, dyes and metal composites. Our philosophy is to use a practical approach in our collaborations in order to improve the knowledge on several up-to-date methodologies in nano-synthesis and in proteomics. It is expected that your knowledge and skills improve in those areas, enabling you to apply them in your own research field.

We are sure you will find a friendly environment during your stay with us, either during a course, a short research stay or even within a PhD program.
